"U3A Warwick Inc has now been using the Member Wizard management software since July 2022. We initially trialed the software free of charge for three months, using it in conjunction with our existing ad hoc system, which relied on spreadsheets. As of the beginning of October 2022, at the beginning of our new financial year, we moved to using Member Wizard exclusively to manage our membership database and all our financial records etc. As a long-time user of various software management systems and databases, both stand-alone and integrated, in my working life, I cannot speak too highly of Member Wizard. It is easy to learn to use and is ideal for small community organisations like U3A. [We currently have 165 members.] I believe it offers two key advantages. Firstly, its ease of use, which makes administration far less onerous than previously. It’s simple to keep track of members and classes, and its ability to link the list of classes to our web page is a game-changer. The automation of many tasks, and the facility for members to enroll on-line, is a huge benefit, as is the ease of communicating with members and sending newsletters. The other major benefit is that significant data is retained within the system and is accessible to present and future users of it. This means that financial and membership records are not stored on individual private computers where they can be hacked or lost. This will also facilitate handovers to incoming committee members, removing the need [or opportunity] for people to set up their own spreadsheets etc. The other outstanding feature of Member Wizard is the support that is available. Right from the beginning, I have found the help, information, and flexibility provided by Member Wizard to be far beyond my [high] expectations. I’m not sure when Claire sleeps, as she always seems to be available via text or telephone. The team at Member Wizard is also open to suggestions and they are happy to customize or tweak the software to suit specific requirements. I cannot recommend them too highly."

"We are a U3A group in Far North Queensland and find Member Wizard perfect for our needs. Our members mostly receive a link and join online, and renewing members also receive a link to review their data and update if necessary. This option is all seamless without paperwork or data entry from the committee. Payments options are also via our displayed bank details or automatic via the Stripe credit card process, this saves a lot of time and we were pleased with the positive response from our members, new and current to the change in the payment options. Of course we also have paper forms and cash payments when requested. Member Wizard are extremely helpful, and have considered modifying the database to meet our needs where practical. Members can receive links to book in and pay for events, classes and the like. We also utilise Member Wizard to create class lists and attendance sheets and we utilise the various functions to store our minutes, forms, bank reconciliations etc. We are able to import bank statements directly from our bank which make monthly reconciliations much easier. We found having an Australian membership database company met our needs and the support people are exceptional. I would highly recommend considering this Membership database program."
